Description

We have concealed the central heating boiler and created extra storage space to store a large number of boxes. It is a framework with oak panels from OPMAATZAGEN.nl on top.

Tips for a tidy attic

We have concealed the central heating boiler with plasterboard. That was quite difficult because the chimney that has been there since 1938... is a bit crooked... in combination with a crooked roof and a crooked floor... but we succeeded! We made a framework and placed plasterboard on it.

Because the central heating boiler is behind the panels, we made a plate that is attached with magnets so that you can still reach the central heating boiler. Then I made a framework of pine beams and paneled with MDF panels. We made a decorative profile on those MDF panels, the corners of which we mitered for a sleek result. We ordered the oak panels sawn to size from OPMAATZAGEN.nl. We ordered the long edge with a 45 degree miter, so that the panel could be placed directly against the sloping roof.

Final size: What are the outside dimensions?

306.0 cm wide
70.0 cm deep
70.0 cm high
